The NASA Lessons Learned Information System, (LLIS) is an on-line, automated data base system designed to collect and make available for use the NASA lessons learned from over forty years in the aeronautics and space business. Access to the NASA Lessons Learned Information System, (LLIS) is limited to specific groups of users. All on-site NASA civil servants and on-site NASA contractors should have automatic access. Limited access is available to all U.S. Government agency computers with ".mil" or ".gov" domain names and to approved NASA international space partners such as ESA and NASDA. There is  also a Public NASA Lessons Learned System that anyone can access.
