1.2.7 Construct Assurance Process Maps

The Assurance Process Map is a tool used to depict the key elements in the overall program safety, mission assurance, and risk management processes. This tool assists in understanding the complex management and documentation structure that supports the assurance functions. It puts onto one page: who are the key assurance players, where are they, how do they interact - essentially how the SMA functions are getting done.

For more information, refer to the ELV and X-34 Independent Assessment Reports provided in the PBMA Program Profiles.
